Each Pereruela terracotta tapas dish is meticulously handmade by skilled potters using a blend of two types of clay: slow drying red clay for strength, and white clay containing quartz, feldspar, and mica for impressive refractory qualities. The dishes are then dried, glazed, and fired for 10 hours. The glaze used on the tapas dish is completely safe and does not contain lead.
