A Valdeón Picos Blue made from cow's and goat's milk, which has earned a Protected Geographical Indication.
Picos cheese is cheese that is made in the Northern Spain mountain range of Picos de Europa.
Smooth in texture and encased in maple leaves, with a sharp flavour. Good for adding to sauces, quiches meats or on its own.
