Canutera Melva, a unique member of the tuna family, is a smaller, more tender variety of frigate mackerel.

Known for their delicate, juicy texture, these fillets are carefully preserved in a blend of premium olive oil and a touch of salt, enhancing their natural flavour.

With its light pink hue and rich taste this exquisite fish delivers a gourmet seafood indulgence in every bite.

In 1986, the Pacheco brothers established Herpac, drawing on their extensive experience running a fish shop in the coastal town of Barbate.

Their dedication and hard-earned reputation led Francisco and Diego to expand their venture by producing dried tuna. They dried the tuna manually using traditional methods, relying solely on the sun and wind.

Herpac now operates an 8,500 square meter facility, three shops and exports globally.
