Home cooked Tortilla, or Spanish Omelette
Earlier this year, we were asked to cater for an event for 100 people and it was imperative that we were to serve Tortilla, or Spanish Omelette, as part of the menu.
We duly imported ready-produced fresh tortillas from Spain (available on the website ready prepared or as a premix to add eggs) and they went down a treat gently heated on a hotplate over the charcoal grill.
However, a good friend of mine decided to make some herself using a simple homecooked recipe, and I was lucky enough to be the one to try it for breakfast.
The difference was amazing, it was soft, tender moist and deliciously tasty with an abubndance of fresh flavours.
