Description

Our three cheese assortment is ideal way to end a dinner or simply to enjoy as a special snack. All the cheeses come in handy 150g packs and can be served as part of a tapas with or with olives and makes an excellent table cheese with quince jelly (membrillo) or fruit. Eat as an easy tapas with wine or sherry.

Vega Mancha Semi- Cured Manchego Cheese D.O.P

Our semi cured Manchego Vega Mancha has a very smooth flavour. Packaged in a 150g wedge, this manchego piece is big enough to share and enjoy with tapas or as part of a cheeseboard.

This quality cheese has “Queso Manchego D.O.” seal of authenticity, attesting to its high quality. Because this young cheese has been cured for up to 90 days, it is fresh, with a gentle sweet aroma. It has a dense paste with lots of small eyes (ojos). The texture is dry-ish but pliable. The flavours are buttery with hints of green almonds and a mild finish.

Vega Gourmet Rosemary Sheep's Milk Cheese

To all intents and purposes this is a manchego made using exactly the same ingredients and techniques, it is the addition of a rosemary coating that means that this cannot be designated a manchego. \n \nMade from pasteurised ewe’s milk and with 3 months ageing, the sheep are left to graze in the wild herbs of the La Mancha uplands giving this cheese its wonderful, herbaceous flavour and, complemented by the rosemary coating, its herby tang. Made by Vega Mancha who make our manchego, it is a small artisan producer.

Vega Mancha Cured Manchego Cheese D.O.P

Aged for 12 months, this Cured Manchego Vega Mancha has an intense nutty flavour with hints of caramel and fruit. Its has a hard, dense paste that comes from the ageing with a dry’ish texture and a complex, savoury finish. This cheese has the ‘Queso Manchego D.O.’ seal of authenticity, attesting to its high quality and provenance.

Artisan Quince Paste

This artisan quince paste is made from 100% natural membrillo made using quince, sugar and a touch of lemon. Compared to the ‘Dulce de Membrillo’ which uses a starch based filler to produce a less strong flavour, this membrillo has an intense colour; deep, rich quince flavour and a thick, creamy consistency.

Our quince paste can be cut into thin slices and spread over toasted bread or sandwiches, plain or with cheese, often served for breakfast or as a snack, with manchego cheese or any hard cured cheese. It is very often used to stuff pastries.

Mallorcan Rosemary Cheese Biscuits

A traditional product from Mallorca Galletes Marineras or Sailors Biscuits are an artisan biscuit which in the old days, seamen would take with them on their long trips around the Mediterranean Sea.

Since 1890, the Noceras family has been baking homemade Marineras, using their own secret recipe.

Made from olive oil and wild rosemary, our Rosemary Biscuits are perfect to accompany any Spanish charcuterie, cheeses and as part of any tapas.
