Description

In 2005, the Torres family decided to open a winery in the town of  Labastida, in the very heart of the Rioja Alavesa region. Torres was well aware of the region's wine-growing potential, which allows for the production of high-quality wines including this Torres Altos Ibéricos Reserva to display remarkable personality and mature beautifully. Altos Ibéricos is named after Alto Otero, the beautiful enclave that is home to the winery.

Torres Altos Ibéricos Reserva is a wine made with 100% Tempranillo from vineyards located in Rioja Alavesa. Once the harvest is carried out, the grapes ferment in stainless steel deposits, with a controlled temperature of 26-28ºC for a week. When the fermentation has ended, it is aged for 16 months in French oak barrels. Before it is launched on the market, it is left to stand in the bottle for a minimum of 20 months.

Torres Altos Ibéricos Reserva is a deep, elegant and complex wine. On the nose, the aromas of ripe red fruits stand out, with toasted notes of the ageing process. In the mouth, it has a powerful entrance and a mid-palate with volume. A very long finish
